This vibrant spot marries the rugged charm of a dive bar with whimsical touches of postmodern decor, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere perfect for an evening out with friends or a casual date night.

As you step inside, you're greeted by an eclectic ambiance that dances between vintage Chinese-American aesthetics and Tikiesque flair, a unique blend that keeps the energy lively and engaging. The comfortable, dimly lit space fills up quickly, so arriving early is wise, especially if you want to snag a good seat to soak in the ambience.

The menu at New Luck Toy is a delightful tribute to Asian cuisine, showcasing a variety of small plates and noodle dishes that beautifully balance flavors and textures. And let’s not forget the enticing Sichuan Bar Nuts that are sweet, salty, and wonderfully addictive at only US$3.00.

Everything was amazing! Loved every single dish but specially the coconut shrimp and green beans. Drinks were delicious and interesting. Would definitely recommend it and will come back for sure. Really cool decor and vibe too.

Loved the vibes of this vintage Chinese-American dive bar with just touches of Tiki-esqe flair. The food was good, but prices were high and portions small for what you get. They were out of the General Tso’s at 9 o’clock on a Saturday, which was a bummer. The cocktails were solid, but nothing particularly memorable or unique. Verdict? Come here for the character and enjoy the bar snacks along the way.

If you are new visiting this restaurant it is a little puzzle to figure out that you have to walk all the way to the back of the restaurant, take a number, and write down on a board the number of guess in ur party then wait to be called. The food at this place is one of the most tasteful for Chinese restaurants in the area. Recommed “BBQ Duck”. The enviroment is very cozzy but bizarre they play Classic K-Rock music on a asian restaurant, but definetely groovy. Very fast service and food takes less than 5 minutes to be served once ordered.

Fantastic food, fantastic drinks, fantastic ambiance. There is a real lack of Chinese food in West Seattle, so this place is fairly essential. I especially like the slushies, and the honey walnut shrimp. In my opinion, this place is 6 stars for the reasons above, but they lose a star due to the super high prices. I describe the vibe as a “fake dive bar.” That is, it looks and feels like a dive bar, except it’s gonna cost you $150 for two people to have dinner.

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food is consistently delicious. The tropical cocktails are a nice balance to the food and are always strong and delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. The cozy, dim ambiance is perfect. My husband and I live across town from this place so it usually takes us between 30-45 mins to get here, but it's always worth the drive. My only complaint? They're not open on Sundays! I always forget and end up craving it just when I can't have it. Otherwise, this place is a gem. Highly recommend.

A girlfriend and I went for dinner. It's seat yourself and the place filled up quickly around 6pm so get there early, because seating is limited. Luckily, we got right in! We had the Spicy Shrimp & Pork Dumplings (7/10, wished the sauce was on the side), the Honey Pecan Crispy Fried Prawns (9/10), the Spicy Pickled Cucumbers (10/10) and the General OH Tso Good Fried Chicken (7/10). It's a fun and intimate environment for a night out. The service was good and cocktails were delicious! We split all our food and each had two cocktails and it was $65 each. I would go back!

Salt & Pepper ribs and general tso's chicken were the highlights. Fries at good with a generous portion. Prawn & pork dumplings and chow fat noodles aren't things I'd order again. Service is great, really dark interior.
